At The Priory, we have a lot of smart, caring, able, creative, and talented students. Pupils’ achievements are recognised in several ways:
House points – these are awarded across the school and across the school day. The house points are countred up by the house captains at the end of the week and a cumulative score is kept. At the end of each term, the house cup is awarded to the winning house.
Star of Wonder – these are certificates that are awarded to individuals for achievements in learning or attitude.
Golden Ties – these are awarded to individuals who have been recognised as displaying the school values. The child is awarded a golden tie to wear the following week at school.
Individual pupil achievements, whether they happen in school or outside of school, can be celebrated in school assemblies, in the school newsletter, or in individual class Seesaw posts.
